Our Paper Crane Lettra is a 100% cotton paper with the feel of fabric and the look of a handmade art paper. Lettra has been engineered especially for letterpress. The paper is soft and luxurious to the touch, yet strong and stable on press. Crane Lettra's distinct extra bulky, even fluffy, "letterpress finish" is rare and engaging in a world of machine-made commercial paper. Cotton fibers are naturally long and strong, but also non-rigid. Lettra is made without surface sizing to maximize its suppleness and its receptiveness to a deep impression. For those who prefer a smoother feel, we also offer Crane's kid-finish papers. Silky-smoothe and velvet-like, this paper is ideal for letterpress printing. Choose from fluorescent white, pearl white and Ecru white. |
